Tweets by @StarForge_Game
"It’s remarkably ambitious, but the terrain manipulation
already looks fantastic and outer space is gorgeous. This thing has
“potential” scrawled all over it."
Markus Persson, Notch, Creator of Minecraft
"I just had a major nerdgasm"
Adam Smith, Rock Paper Shotgun
"StarForge blew me away when I first saw it – my monitor
emitted a gale force wind and I was pinned against the rear wall of
my study for about fifteen minutes"
"The idea being, you create your own insane Starship Troopers
moments."
"There’s procedurally generated guns, deformable terrain and
physics driven free running, plus evil killer worms."
"I've played the game for a bit, and I must say: I am very
excited for the future of StarForge."
Jim Rossignol, Rock Paper Shotgun
"Any development team that tries to sell its crowd-sourcing
efforts with a video of a multi-blade chainsaw fight on a
spacecraft floating above a planet, ending with one of the
characters plunging into the clouds below, gets my vote."
"Allow your jaw to drop."
Adam Smith, Rock Paper Shotgun
"...I’ve already played around with its insanely ambitious
world-building and baddy-blasting, and I had seen that it was full
of promise."
"...it’s another reminder that indie games are the
best."
"StarForge remixes Minecraft with sci-fi shooting reminiscent
of Halo."
"Anyhow that’s enough from me. I’m not a man to stand in the
way of an orbital quad-chainsaw jousting match. JOUST AWAY,
GENTLEMEN."
